Better known by her alias, “Becca Bloom”, Rebecca Ma, 25 years old as of 2025, joined TikTok early this year and quickly grew to fame after videos of her luxurious lifestyle went viral.
One of her viral videos featured Becca plating her dog’s breakfast, made by the family’s chef, which included expensive ingredients like purple rice, chicken, and free-range eggs.
In another, Becca prepared her breakfast using chopsticks from a silver Christofle Egg, which cost upwards of $2,000 USD and seasoned her meal with a generous serving of caviar.

Why Becca Is TikTok’s Favourite Rich Girl

Amassing 3 million followers and over 69 million likes as of late, her exponential rise can’t be explained by simple “algorithm riding.
Unlike other influencers who try to “look” rich, Becca doesn’t have to try.
She simply is rich.
And #RichTok is absolutely loving it.
#RichTok is where old money meets new age performance. Think lavish day in the life vlogs, or ridiculously expensive Hermes and Van Cleef unboxing videos.
We’re reminded of another TikToker, Chloe Liem, also part of Richtok, who went viral for being a “stay-at-home” daughter and her immense love for all things Van Cleef.
What Is #RichTok?
This segment of TikTok isn’t just about the flex or living off others’ fantasies of wealth.
It’s also about personality and “not trying hard.”
Becca achieves this sweet balance of the two by avoiding overly curated videos; most of her content is casual, low-key whispers of wealth and glimpses into her everyday life.
It’s truly all about being authentic, or at least, looking like it.
Aside from that, Becca also has a full-time job in finance, and she’s determined to make it on her own.
In one of her videos, Becca said that while she acknowledges her parents’ success in tech and real estate, she works just as hard to carve out her path, and her parents’ success motivates her even more.
A Deeper Look Into Becca’s Childhood
The TikToker mentioned to her followers that she grew up in a household that didn’t clap for participation.
Becca was taught that if she didn’t win, there were no congratulations. Instead, she would get debriefs to talk about what worked, what didn’t, and the next steps to take.
These debriefs weren’t centered around shame; rather, they were about optimisation.
“My parents believed that over-praising participation diluted motivation. I recently came across a Harvard study that found children praised for their efforts rather than the outcome, showed 40% higher resilience and better problem-solving skills later on”, said Becca.
The TikToker also shared that honesty was instilled in her as she was taught that once you lose someone’s trust, “it’s gone forever.”
Growing up, Becca was never punished for telling the truth, even when it was inconvenient, so she never felt the need to lie to them.
This was reflected in an instance during first grade where she admitted that she copied her friend’s math homework.
Instead of scolding her, her parents asked if she was setting herself up for failure when the test came.
Over time, Becca realised that the more honest she was, the more trust and freedom she gained.
Is Influencer Culture Changing?
Her popularity is a testament to the changing tides of influencer culture.
Out with the “aspirational relatability” of the 2010s and in with the unapologetic embrace of wealth and class.
Becca Bloom may not be pushing us products, but she’s undoubtedly pushing the idea that the ultra wealthy can be relatable and kind, which is rather polarising in a time of rising public frustration at the top one percent.
Taking a closer look at her charming authenticity and why it feels so refreshing might prompt us to question the broader social dynamics at play.
But will the adoration for Becca and #RichTok last in such uncertain and economically troubling times? Or will love for Becca only get greater?
While we ponder, Becca continues to sit on the throne of #RichTok, and we’re all loving it.
