Do you remember when you were a kid and it was Saturday night, you were sitting on your living room couch watching comedy Television enjoying life?
Well, you can indulge yourself in some nostalgia and enjoy some Studio C comedy sketches.
What You Don’t Know Studio C?
Studio C is an innovative sketch comedy television show, that has been a staple of family-friendly entertainment since it aired in 2012.
Produced by BYUtv in Utah, Studio C traces its roots to the Brigham Young University (BYU) sketch comedy troupe, Divine Comedy.
All ten original cast members of Studio C were former members of Divine Comedy, bringing a unique blend of humour that evolved from BYU-centric jokes to a broader, national appeal.
A Little History Lesson On Studio C
Initially, the show was intended to be named Common Room, however, it was eventually changed to Studio C.
Why?
Well, it was named Studio C as a reference to the studio in the BYU Broadcasting Building where the show is filmed in front of a live audience.
Studio C aimed to produce a clean, family-oriented comedy that resonates with viewers across all of America
However, after the ninth season in 2018, the original cast members decided to depart to create JK! Studios, a new family-comedy network.
Despite the audiences fearing the end of the TV show they loved, Studio C proved their loyal fans wrong and continued to thrive, introducing all-new cast members in the tenth season.
The legacy of the original cast members remains intact, with Jason Gray returning as a permanent cast member for the fourteenth season in 2021.
Studio C’s commitment to family-friendly content has garnered a loyal fanbase, evidenced by its thriving YouTube channel.
Studio C Dipping Their Toes Into YouTube
Since its launch in 2012 Studio C’s YouTube channel now boasts 3 million subscribers.
The Studio C YouTube channel features a vast array of comedy sketches, including both exclusive content and cut sketches from original episodes.
Their most popular video is the “Top Soccer Shootout Ever With Scott Sterling,” which has amassed over 75 million views.🤯
The video is a comedy sketch of a football penalty shoot-out, initially the penalty shoot-out seemed normal with a goalie blocking a penalty shot by a footballer.
However, this quickly takes a 180 turn when the other goalie Scott Sterling begins to block every penalty shot with only his face as he gets more and more injured and concussed.
At some point, the heavily injured Scott Sterling tries to crawl off the field before indirectly blocking a penalty shot with his face again!😭 (Man can’t catch a break)
With new videos being consistently uploaded every Tuesday and Friday, keeping the content fresh and engaging for their loyal fans.
Studio C has even hosted several live events specifically tailored for their YouTube community, allowing fans to watch the cast perform live sketches, participate in games, and engage in Q&A sessions via Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
This not only entertains their loyal audience but also fosters a stronger connection between the cast and their audience.

This video posted by Studio C on their YouTube channel gained a massive 72 million views featuring Scott Sterling!
However, this time Scott Sterling is a volleyball player, shown to be playing at a national volleyball match, and if Scott Sterling is here you have a pretty good idea what he’s gonna do…
In this video instead of blocking footballs, he’s blocking volleyballs in the most spectacular way possible, he blocks every spike that the opponent team throws at him multiple times in a row!😭
And of course, at the end of the match the man, the myth, the legend, Scott Sterling is carried away on a stretcher again.🤓
This video was posted on the Studio C YouTube channel gaining 14 million views, it follows up on the situation of world-renowned goalkeeper Scott Sterling.
The video shows Scott Sterling in a hospital bed as a new reporter starts trying to interview him while he’s trying to rest.
During the interview, Scott Sterling doesn’t say a word, but the medic from the previous video is shown answering the questions while indirectly insulting Scott’s looks.🤡
Shortly after the reporter is chased out of the room by a policeman who is a fan of Scott Sterling, however, the policeman quickly tries to get Scott’s autograph before “accidentally” throwing a football at Scott’s face repeatedly.💀
