Introducing himself as the hired magician, he would captivate each group with his magic before moving on to the next, earning a respectable income for a 15-year-old.
This hands-on experience not only enhanced his showmanship but also equipped him with invaluable skills that would shape his future career.
Building A Magical Career
As Jeremy’s passion grew, so did his ambitions.
Stepping Onto The Big Stage
He transitioned to stage magic by starting as a “roadie” for senior magicians, learning stage setup, music selection, audience engagement, and crafting seamless performances.
Armed with these skills, he began performing at community and recreation centres, children’s parties, and eventually corporate events for Fortune 500 companies.
Rising To International Fame
His dedication to perfecting his craft led him to magic conventions worldwide, where he connected with fellow magicians and continued to learn.
In 2011, Jeremy earned first runner-up at the FISM Asia Championships of Magic, representing Singapore on the global stage, later competing in the FISM World Championships of Magic—often called the Olympics of Magic.
For his contributions to the global magic community, Jeremy was honoured with the Merlin Award for Magician of the Year from the International Magicians Society (IMS), joining the ranks of legends like David Copperfield, David Blaine, Criss Angel, and Penn & Teller.

The decision to pivot early on proved fruitful, with virtual shows quickly gaining popularity among event companies looking for new ways to entertain.
